We are an international research programme dedicated to understanding the prospects for human augmentation, social inclusion and shared prosperity in the fourth industrial revolution.

Feature of the Month

In light of claims that we have entered a fourth industrial revolution, questions of what, if anything, is significant or revolutionary about today’s developments are raised. With public debate focusing largely on the threat of large-scale technological unemployment, we call to your attention the need to rethink education and the future of work. Also, we highlight that policy debates are based on outdated assumptions that need to be reformulated in a context of digital transformation. Hence, we invite you to challenge the key assumptions informing current policies.
